TSINGHUA UNIVERSITY SCHOOL OF ECONOMICS AND MANAGEMENT
Tsinghua University School of Economics and Management (Tsinghua SEM) was founded in 1984 with the mission “To advance knowledge and cultivate leaders for China and the world.” Tsinghua SEM consists of 7 academic departments, with over 150 full-time faculty and nearly 300 staff. Currently over 4,000 students are studying in the undergraduate, master’s, doctoral, MBA and EMBA degree programs, and over time more than 20,000 alumni graduated from its degree programs. Each year Tsinghua SEM also trains over 7,000 senior executives in its non-degree programs. Tsinghua SEM is the first school on the Chinese mainland to attain both AACSB and EQUIS accreditation.

IFM (French Fashion Institute)
Institut Français de la Mode IFM, established in 1986, is the leading French institution for training, research, and applied expertise in the fashion, luxury, and design industries. Located in Paris, home to the headquarters of many leading fashion, luxury, and cosmetics companies, IFM has close partnerships and unique access to all the premier fashion companies and haute couture houses such as Balenciaga, Chanel, Chloé, Dior, Gucci, Hermès, Kenzo, L’Oréal, Louis Vuitton, and Saint Laurent.

PROGRAM VALUE
Advanced Management Program in Fashion and Luxury (AMP) has provided management talents and professionals in the fashion and luxury business with latest industry knowledge, global strategic mindset, advanced management skills, and extensive business network, all to help our participants to improve their companies' competitiveness, innovation and brand influence.
In 2016, building upon the successful foundation of AMP, Tsinghua SEM launched AMP10 in this year. The course will focus on combining business theories and real world practices, and the faculty members will include many more industry elites and specialists. The curriculum will have its emphasis on small team projects, case studies, company visits, roundtable discussions etc., each inviting industry elite practitioners to interact face to face with our participants, inspiring them with real life case studies, and ultimately improving their overall business acumen. Meanwhile, AMP10 will continue to attach high importance to the maintenance of its alumni resources that include regularly organizing alumni forums and other events, and offering opportunities for alumni and participants to network and share their experiences. This new curriculum has been approved and supported by Tsinghua and IFM.

All the specificities of the luxury strategy will be analyzed. Business models, creation and growth strategies of luxury companies will also be covered.

MODULE 5 Paris Experience (5 days, Paris)
“Discover the expression of luxury in the French and Parisian context” The Paris Experience, which is an optional addition to the six modules, represents a unique opportunity for participants to complete their course of study with an exceptional visit to Paris in order to understand the keys of success of the haute couture fashion and luxury industry in France. Building on the modules offered in China and focusing on key elements of luxury management, Paris Experience will help participants deepen their knowledge and concepts acquired through the six AMP modules in China. Lectures will be given by senior executives of leading fashion and luxury companies, along with professors from IFM and professors from HEC Paris as well. Participants will gain a unique experience of understanding the true nature of luxury products and luxury management. Meeting with top luxury executives will enrich participants’ exposure to luxury settings and help them discover the luxury culture in their own cultural context. Privileged visits to key places in French fashion history that are not accessible to the general public will help participants understand the role that French cultural innovation has played and continues to play in the evolution of luxury industry.

LANGUAGE
The lectures in Tsinghua University will be conducted in Chinese and the Paris module will be conducted in English with interpretation as necessary. 

EVENTS
To strengthen the interaction and links between the academic world and industry and to build a platform for industry elites to exchange views, we host a series of forums and salons in key cities like Beijing, Shanghai and Shenzhen. We invite senior management from sectors such as apparel, cosmetics, jewelry, luxury products, IT, media and recreation to discuss important topics related to fashion and luxury industry management and development. These events are quickly becoming the source of the most forefront thoughts and insights regarding the industry’s latest development.

PROGRAM FEEs
The fee for the five compulsory AMP modules in China is RMB 158,000, which includes tuition, course materials, lunch, coffee breaks. The acceptance letter and the invoice will both be sent out to participants. The total fee should be paid prior to the start of the program.

INTERNATIONAL CERTIFICATE
Full attendance is compulsory for all modules in Beijing and Paris. Participants who successfully complete all five modules are awarded an International Certificate jointly presented by Tsinghua SEM and IFM (French Fashion Institute).
